Emily is a master degree (Distinction) holder of Music Education, with focus on music performance and pedagogy, conferred by The Education University of Hong Kong. She studies piano performance under well-known international concert pianist Ernest-Hin Leung So and Chinese Composition under Mr Chen Tin Pui. She was also instructed by famous international pianist Lang Lang in 2010 at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals 140 anniversary event. Emily began learning music at age of 4, including music instruments such as piano, flute, violin, organ, trombone, harp and Erhu. Emily obtained Grade 5 certificate for violin and Grade 8 certificate for piano from ABRSM aged 12; Grade 8 distinction certificate for flute from ABRSM aged 14; LTCL Diploma in Piano Recital from Trinity College London aged 17. To date, Emily is still exert herself in music knowledge.
She starts competing in various music contests from aged 6 and has won over 100 awards. Emily has several winning tittle as shown below:
